Acoustic vs Classical?
I really want to learn to play the guitar, but all I have at home is a classical acoustic guitar, its in great shape, but I don’t have time for lessons, and people say that its much harder to learn than a regular acoustic. Is this true? If so, what are some good acoustic guitars that I should look into?
I learned to play on a classic guitar, and later bought steel string and electric guitars. It’s no harder to learn on than any other guitar, but it is easier on your fingers. Use the one you have until you know more about what style of playing, and what kind of sound you want.
You can learn off of the internet, but getting lessons does help a lot, many junior colleges have classes, that are very cheap. If you want to go the self taught rout here are a couple of links that will help.
