What guitar strings are best for a Ibanez IJV50 JamPack Quick Start?
One of my strings on my guitar broke, need new strings. Should i get light or medium strings?
I would consider that instead of searching light or medium you search the collection of ERNIE BALL strings they have wide collection, I would suggest You go with SUPER SLINKY but if you want to separate yourself from the crowd you can go with some of the larger Gauge like the BEEFY SLINKY which give a more distorted sound similar to those adopted by AC/DC and GUNS N’ ROSES, a huge array of artists use ERNIE BALL including some of the heavier ones like
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, ALL THAT REMAINS and NINE INCH NAILS in most guitar shops they will share the same recommendations. But in conclusion I would advise you go with a 9 or 10 as they would offer a compremise between sound, pace and longevity.
