is there a way to play classical guitar without nail and calloused finger. (i play the piano)?
i play the piano, so my finger tips need to be relatively smooth for sensitivity, but i am somewhat interested in learning to play classical guitar at this point, but i can’t have nails either because of the piano.

You can use you finger nails to pluck the classical guitar. It is only in the last 100 years that performers have switched to just using nails. Prior to this guitarists were divided into two camps…those who used fingers and those who used nails. Fernando Sor advocated using fingers rather then nails so if it was good enough for him, than it is good enough for the rest of us.
You will probably develop callouses on both your right and left hand if you practise for many hours every day.How many hours per day do you intend to practise the guitar. ? If you only practise for about 1 hour per day, I don’t think you will develop callouses on your fingers of either hand….the nylon strings are fairly soft. It should not interfere with your piano playing.
PS. you cannot use a pick/plectrum to play classical guitar.
