How long will it take to learn to play guitar pretty decently?
Just curious, I have time. I’m picking the guitar up at age 32, so I already feel old (in a way). But I want to learn, and I can play drums well, and dabble on the piano.
Basically, how long would it take from novice to being able to play songs like, say, Oasis songs?
It all depends! Make sure you get plenty of resources from online, a friend you know with experiences, or a library! Look up scales that you could play, and warmups to get your fingers moving quickly.
And you must practice every day!
It depends on how fast of a learner you are, and how easily you can understand materials about a subject such as playing the guitar.
